Project Focus: An Exploration of Maternal Child Health Services through a Collective Impact Analysis

I aspire first and foremost to be a strong primary care clinician to patients of all ages in an urban underserved setting. I aim to complement this work with a rigorous public health approach through systems improvement, program development and community partnerships.

Project Overview

The time period of the “First 1,000 days” (conception through 24 months of age) is a time of high utilization of healthcare services for mother-infant dyads and their families. This project will use a collective impact approach to evaluate DotHouse Health’s current maternal-child health services and practices to determine perceived strengths and areas needing improvement. It will also identify potential opportunities to improve coordination, collaboration and innovation between departments and services to better address the health and wellness priorities of its patients and their families.
